E-mail Outage 30/06/08 (UPDATE)
You may find that since we switched over your e-mail account today to the new server, that the old server is still trying to connect. We were hoping to recover any outstanding e-mail and allow your e-mail clients to pick up this delayed e-mail. Unfortunately, we have so far been unsuccessful in out initial attempts, as both the primary and backup drives failed after a massive hardware failure. We are continuing to try to recover any e-mail from Sunday & Monday and will keep you informed of our progress.
Anybody trying to send e-mail to you after Sunday PM would probably have not got through and will have either got a rejection notice returned to them or the message will have been/will be delivered later. If you know that you should have received an e-mail from someone today and it has not arrived by tomorrow afternoon, please contact them and ask to resend.
In the meantime, we suggest that you disable your old e-mail account, so that it stops trying to check a non-existent account.
